US manufacturing of apellix Drones
The Apellix Spray Painting unmanned aerial systems (UAS) referenced above are designed, assembled, and tested in Jacksonville, Florida, USA by Apellix. Consistent with the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance, the Apellix Power Wash Drone is considered “Made in the USA of U.S. and imported parts”. The Apellix Power Wash Drones use American flight controllers, data transmission devices, and operating software. It utilizes a Chinese camera and a Radio Frequency Controller. Excluding batteries, imported parts constitute less than 5% of the total UAS value. Note that battery cells, the critical component in lithium batteries, are only available from China.
Apellix UAS are self-contained and do not access the Internet or report any video, location, or other data other than what is transmitted during flight by the FAA-approved drone ID system. The patented Apellix Spray Painting Drone, the B1, B2, Blue (formerly named the US1), Power Wash Drones, and X1 Power Supply were developed in the US by Apellix, a US company based on over ten years of research and engineering conducted exclusively within the US.
Apellix has been an industry pioneer in drone technology since 2016. With multiple patents and a host of industry awards, Apellix is a leader in creating drones that transform the way we work. See the Apellix At Work webpage to see some videos of our systems in action.
